Description: Perhaps the nicest hockey jersey ever worn, this first year Scouts jersey was worn by goalie Denis Herron and shows moderate wear. The jersey has preserved in outstanding condition and still has all the original tagging. There are stains that appear to be blood stains on the left cuff and on the hem, which are parts of the jerseys that he would have used to wipe away a cut. Truely an amazing looking jersey, jerseys from this franchise that only lasted 2 years are very hard to come by. |

Description: After 2 years of inquiries and trade offers, I was finally able to acquire this great jersey. The jersey shows very good wear and has many puck marks visible. There is a nice large repair on the hem. Thanks to Casey Samuelson, I have two nice photomatches for this jersey. In the top action photo you can clearly see many of the same puck marks around the crest, especially near the Penguin's top glove. The bottom posed photo, which is a pretty embarrasing photo, shows a nice mark on the hem that matches up to the jersey. Additionally, the jersey has been video matched to a Marty McSorley fight tape from that era. |
